I followed your design use 1/2" material but made them larger to extend the mounting screws beyond the pulleys. This allows the screws to be placed without milling the heads.

Thanks again for a great fix.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08785340853409232593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7412846647818539522.post-61507470149033270812015-05-04T18:57:10.141-07:002015-05-04T18:57:10.141-07:00Scott,

I made my own like you did, until I hit a frozen snow bank one one end of the plow (at some speed) and sent a pressure surge up the lines, which in turn forced the mower cylinder to bend the rock shaft and break both bearing end caps (not good). I then discovered that deere also made a Diverter valve, which allows me to switch from mower/rear implement, to front angle plow with a quick pull on a lever. It mounts on the left side of the tractor just below the battery (ever wonder what those extra holes are for?). This works really well for switching on the fly and also serves to lock out the mower cylinder. I found one on ebay for $160 with all the hoses and fittings.

Scott JAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7412846647818539522.post-3520498375900900542013-09-25T07:10:30.639-07:002013-09-25T07:10:30.639-07:00good post,I am glad to visit your website..
